Nov./Dec Book Club

I'm baaaack!! (For now). This month's book is Stardust by Neil Gaiman. Neil is a really good author and the movie was super good. And we all know that the book is always way better. Megan is in charge and she'll let us know where her new house is. I think it will be the first week of December. Have a fun fall y'all!!

Book Club

We will be meeting this Tues., May 19th at 6:30 pm at the dorm. We will be discussing The Hunger Games. Hope to see everyone there!

Finally! We are back!

So our 6 months a year book club has finally met! Yeah! We discussed Uglies and thank you to Julie for the yummy treats and questions on the book. It was so fun! We are also glad we got to meet Megan, one of our new editions this year!

Next month's book is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This book is so good! No one will be able to put it down. Holly and Dena both have copies if anyone needs to borrow one. We are excited everyone will be there next time! Date and time coming soon.

February

OK girls! We are going to try this again! Due to the holidays some people did not get to read the book so... we have extended Uglies to February. If you know anyone who would like to join (and will read the books) ask them! The more the merrier! So everyone get reading and we will post a date and time later. If anyone needs to borrow the book or anything, ask Holly!

January

We have decided to skip December because everyone is too busy! We didn't meet in November because Mareen was a slacker and didn't put together a book club meeting. Mareen didn't want to have one because no one read her book (except Holly). She cried herself to sleep every night thinking about it. We will meet in January to discuss Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. Time and date to be announced later. Everyone please read the book. I've heard great things about it. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!! Happy Hanukkah and Kwanzaa also!

November Book Club

We had a great book club this month! Everyone seemed to really enjoy The Host. Marlo did a wonderful job too! The food was great and the cake was awesome! Cute ideas.

Next month's book with be The Strongbow Saga: Viking Warrior Book 1 by Judson Roberts. This will be an exciting, action packed book. It will be different than any other book we have read so far. It will be so good! It will be Tues., Nov. 25. More details on where and what time!
