January

We have decided to skip December because everyone is too busy! We didn't meet in November because Mareen was a slacker and didn't put together a book club meeting. Mareen didn't want to have one because no one read her book (except Holly). She cried herself to sleep every night thinking about it. We will meet in January to discuss Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. Time and date to be announced later. Everyone please read the book. I've heard great things about it. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!! Happy Hanukkah and Kwanzaa also!

November Book Club

We had a great book club this month! Everyone seemed to really enjoy The Host. Marlo did a wonderful job too! The food was great and the cake was awesome! Cute ideas.

Next month's book with be The Strongbow Saga: Viking Warrior Book 1 by Judson Roberts. This will be an exciting, action packed book. It will be different than any other book we have read so far. It will be so good! It will be Tues., Nov. 25. More details on where and what time!

October Book Club

Thanks Shanda for hosting a great Book Club! The book was so good and we're glad you picked it. Also, the food was delish! We all need the recipe for that dessert!

Next month's book is The Host by Stephenie Meyer. October Book Club will be Tuesday, October 28th at 6:30. Marlo will be in charge and it will probably be at Taia's house.

September Book Club

Next month's book will be Sarah's Quilt by Nancy E. Turner. It is the continuing story of Sarah Agnes Prine from These Is My Words. It will be on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd at Shanda's house. See you all there!

Breaking Dawn!

Book club was so fun! Thanks to Heidi for hosting! Wonderful food too. We are also glad that we had some new people join us this time! Hopefully, they will join us again (Julie and Marcie!). The discussion over the book was great and overall, I think everyone REALLY enjoyed it. Great pick, Heidi!
